These Precious Ones

Sundays in Eswatini are an entire experience. If you’ve never experienced one, it’s difficult to describe, but here’s a try. Imagine the most beautiful concert you’ve ever attended, and combine it with a powerful message; that’s a little what Eswatini is like – every week.

As Heather said, we now understand the words of Paul when he said “For I want very much to see you, so that I may impart to you some spiritual gift to strengthen you, that is, to be mutually encouraged by each other’s faith, both yours and mine.” (Romans‬ ‭1:11-12‬ ‭CSB‬‬)

It was a beautiful, bright day full of smiles and joy and blue skies, and those precious Swazis.

After a restful afternoon, this evening we enjoyed an incredible dinner at our guesthouse with some of our Swazi friends! It was a sweet time of reunions and relationships, and we are so grateful.

These are the most precious moments of Eswatini. Sitting around a warm meal exchanging stories, sharing songs, and laughing until we’re silly is the best medicine for our cool hands and noses.

These friends have no idea what they mean to us. These precious ones reflect the very best of Jesus. They have captured our hearts. We end this evening full, full, full of gratitude.

Thank you Jesus for these precious ones.
