The team enjoyed our accommodations and hostess in Marloth Park. Wednesday morning, we packed our vans, said our good-byes, prayed for safe travels, and headed to the airport at 8:30 am. We traveled safely and arrived at Johannesburg airport at 3:30 pm for our 7:55 pm flight. The team was ready to begin the long flight home. We were thankful that all of the team members were allowed to board the flight. Several team members were not feeling well, but they did not complain. It is hard to explain how long the flight is especially if passengers are unable to sleep. Some team members slept more than others. Customs in Atlanta was long and uneventful except for two team members who needed extra time to have their tomato jam inspected. Our connecting flight from Atlanta went smoothly. At RDU the team was greeted by some family members who came to meet their loved ones. Sweet reunions! Once again, Stan Edwards along with John Modlin drove the FBC bus to transport us home. What a blessing for another safe ride home! First Baptist staff, family, and friends greeted us when we arrived at the church. We are all so thankful for your prayers and support as we ministered in Swaziland, Africa.
On Friday, several of the sick team members went to seek medical help. Two team members were diagnosed with pneumonia and bronchial tracings, but they did not get tested for flu. Another team member tested positive for flu, Influenza A. One team member is waiting on chest x-ray results on Monday. Lastly, one team member still has a runny nose and cough, but she feels better after getting good rest. Pray for the whole team to improve in health or remain healthy. Pray for team members as they process what they experienced in ministering in Eswatini. Pray for our Swazi pastors and their families, spiritual leaders, churches and our friends in Eswatini. Once again, we thank you for your support and praying for us.
