Little Miracles

Well friends, the July 2022 Swaziland Partnership team has arrived in Johannesburg safe and sound! Praise God! After traveling from all corners of the world, we have finally gotten settled into BIMS (the Baptist Mission house in Joburg) and are trying to (as Wayne Myers would say) “rest fast.”

Today was full of little miracles – and not to say the miracles were small – but God showed up for this team over and over again over the last 36 hours. God coordinated team members meeting up from three different locations. He orchestrated luggage moving from flight to flight seamlessly. He watched over planes as they flew across oceans. He gave us an extra rental van when it was needed. He provided us GPS when we came out of the airport oddly tonight.

Our lives are made of up of millions of little miracles. These miracles occur around us all day. We have to stop at marvel at them once in a while. They reveal to us the glory of our God.

“Know that the Lord your God is God, the faithful God who keeps his gracious covenant loyalty for a thousand generations with those who love him and keep his commands.” God is faithful to us in the everyday throughout the generations.

We encourage you to find the little miracles in your own life. How Is God working all things together for your good and His glory right now?

As we settle in for tonight, we covet your prayers. Pray for us as we embark on the long journey to the Eswatini border tomorrow. Pray for our rest tonight, that it would be rich and fruitful. Pray that God would continue to reveal Himself through little miracles.
